Joomie, the innovative mobile app catering to Jewish college students seeking ideal roommates, welcomed me aboard to lead its design efforts. My introduction to this exciting project came through a recommendation from a client's friend, who had already developed most of the app with placeholder design and art assets.
Taking the reins, I set out to transform Joomie into a cohesive and vibrant brand with a consistent look and feel. To embody its essence, I carefully selected a simple yet impactful color palette, prominently featuring blues and white, drawing inspiration from the Israeli flag. Crafting a logo that captured the app's essence, I laid the foundation for Joomie's distinct identity.
As the design journey progressed, I infused the mobile app and brand with a youthful and lively spirit, mirroring the very students who would engage with it. The updated screen designs seamlessly matched the new look, bringing forth an inviting and fresh experience for users.
